Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern access to and use of HACKTIX. By creating an organisation workspace or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.

Publication note: This is a working policy draft, not legal advice. Complete the operating-entity, contact, retention, vendor and jurisdiction details and obtain legal review before relying on it as a final legal document.

1. Platform access

You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential and use the platform only where you are authorised to do so.

2. Organisation responsibilities

The organisation owner is responsible for its users, event configuration, participant information, jury invitations, permissions and content uploaded to its workspace.

3. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the platform, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorised access, upload malicious content or use it in a way that violates applicable law or another person's rights.

4. Customer content and data

You retain responsibility for the content and personal information you submit. You must have a lawful basis and appropriate permissions to provide participant, team and jury information.

5. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update or temporarily restrict parts of the service for security, maintenance or operational reasons. We will take reasonable steps to communicate material changes where practicable.

6. Suspension and termination

Access may be restricted where there is a credible security risk, unlawful use, material breach or non-payment once paid services are introduced. We will provide notice where reasonably possible.

7. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided subject to applicable law. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Specific service commitments, fees and support levels must be stated in a separate order or plan.

8. Governing law and contact

The operating legal entity, registered address, governing-law venue and support contact must be completed and reviewed before these Terms are published as binding legal terms.
